JUDGE INFORMATION 2024

We warmly invite you to participate in The Arkansas Oak Speech and Debate Tournament. We will have teams from all over the nation traveling to Northwest Arkansas to compete!

WE NEED YOU!

We are looking for people from the community to volunteer as judges. Serving as a judge is truly both enjoyable and rewarding. You will be so encouraged by the young people who have prepared for this competition, and you will be doing a great service to the youth in our area. We are a 501c3 organization, so your time commitment officially counts toward community service hours for work and school requirements.

We will have a fabulous buffet including hearty meals, wonderful desserts, delicious snacks, coffee and iced tea that will be supplied all day in our Judge Hospitality area, all FREE to our community judges!

Am I Qualified?

Yes! Any adult (age 19 and older) willing to be a judge is qualified. A brief training session will be provided prior to each event to guide you in your role as a judge and to answer any questions you may have. You will be required to attend a training session before you judge, so please plan to arrive 45 minutes before your scheduled judging time. *
