REGISTRATION


Registration Opens: Friday, March 1st at 9:00 am (CST)
Registration Closes: Monday, March 15th at midnight (CST)

Stoa Membership

All competitors must be members of Stoa in order to participate

Registration Fees

TP/LD/Parli - $40 per debater
Speech - $25 for first event, $15 for each additional event
Junior Speech - $20 flat fee
Junior Debate - Free
Registration Fee - $10 per family

Parent Meals - All parents will need to purchase meals. Only community judges and full-time staff will be able to eat meals free of charge. Parents are invited to purchase the parent meal package for either $50 (Wed - Sat: 7 meals) or $45 (Thurs - Sat: 6 meals). Our meals will be fresh and delicious with lots of healthy options throughout the day.

Payments

Payment must be made during the registration process. Registration will not be complete until all fees have been paid.

Refund Policy

Cancellations prior to tournament registration close will receive a full refund minus any processing fees. There will be NO REFUNDS after registration closes. Thank you for your understanding.

Dropping an Event

There are no drop fees for dropping events while registration remains open. Drops from the close of registration up through April 6 will cost $15 per event. Events dropped from April 7 up until and including check-in will be charged a $25 fee. You will need to pay this fee at check-in so that your student can compete. Students with unpaid fees will not be permitted to compete.

Partnerships

The registrations for students competing in Team Policy, Parliamentary Debate, and Duo Interp will not be considered complete until BOTH competitors have registered.

Waiting List

We will communicate regarding the wait list during the registration process and after registration closes. We have a large facility and anticipate being able to accommodate all competitors in all events.

The Arkansas Oak will require 100% electronic script submission. Please click on the Script Submission tab on the left for complete instructions. Please read the information carefully.

Parent Judges

Because we want to provide a quality tournament for all competitors, it is essential that all parents sign up for and judge a minimum of 3 rounds per day. Please see the details in the parent tab to the left.

The schedule of the tournament as well as the Speech Patterns are subject to change according to the needs of the tournament.
